Migrant Health Facility Migrant farm workers have little, if any, access to health care or medication. Language and cultural barriers also prevent migrant farm workers from obtaining care or services. We were founded upon providing health care for farm workers, and we keep this a priority today. We have migrant sites in Manchester and Belding, plus mobile medical and dental buses that travel to other rural areas all over the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond.

Mobile Dental (3) A school-based dental program that travels to elementary schools and Migrant Sites, Great Lakes Bay Health Center’s oral health program utilizes our two mobile dental units and portable equipment to provide Exams, X-rays, Cleanings, Fluoride Treatments and Sealants to students at each school. Mobile MedicalGreat Lakes Bay Health Center provides mobile outreach throughout the commu-nities. This mobile unit travels throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond, including health fairs and migrant sites. PHONE: 989.959.6400


School-Based Health Centers• Integrated at school locations and open to students ages 10-21.This allows

for consistent and convenient medical services – including everything from sports physicals and well-child visits to treatment of illness, injuries or chronic conditions to counseling and health education. This approach helps to ensure the best care possible for the students – right in their school.

• Parental consent required for all services (except Adolescent Confidential Health Services as per Michigan law).

• Students or parents may call and make appointments or stop by the health center to make an appointment. Services are open to any students in the community.

SERVICES PROVIDED: Annual/Sports Physicals, Treatment for Illness or Injuries, Health Education, Vaccines (Shots), Behavioral Health Counseling, TB Tests, Lab Tests, Dental Bus and Medicaid Enrollment
