We are pleased to present you with the 2014-15 Quality Profile for the Crestwood Local School District. The Quality Profile helps characterize the overall educational value of public education beyond standardized testing.

The content included is based on the following categories: Academics, Arts, Parent & Community Involvement, Student Leadership & Activities, Staff Leadership, Student Services, and Fiscal Stewardship. The Quality Profile is a true indicator of the outstanding experiences that are offered to families in the district.

The Crestwood Local School District is committed to working with each and every student to reach their maximum potential. We know that this is achieved by providing a rigorous and comprehensive academic experience where kids come first, balanced with a variety of extra-curricular and athletic programs. We work with our staff, students, families, and partners to ensure that every Crestwood student will have a positive educational experience, one that is cultivated by partnerships and collaborations fostered to ensure student success and engagement.

The Quality Profile is a companion report to the State of Ohio’s Local Report Card. It offers additional accountability measures that better defines what a high-quality school district looks like and a deeper understanding of the educational experiences that are offered to all students. This Quality Profile is designed to offer a look inside our school district, provide information on accomplishments, involvement, and partnerships. Parents, taxpayers, residents are clear in their message and what they value – provide a well-rounded education for all and set high standards for academic achievement. We make every effort to meet these expectations by providing programs and services that will support students in being highly successful academically, strong leaders, community oriented, and excel athletically.

The Quality Profile is published by school districts across Ohio. This report is supported by the Alliance for High Quality Education, an education consortium that works to improve educational opportunities for students and represent districts on matters of educational policy and funding.

As you read this Quality Profile, you will see the accomplishments of our students and staff. It is our hope that the Quality Profile will further demonstrate the value of a Pre K-12 education in the Crestwood Local School District. We hope you find this report to be informative and provide you with a clearer picture of the high quality programming Crestwood Local School District offers to our students.
