The Pioneering Quality Librarians at SLWA
• Position created in 2006 as part of a restructure of library operations.
• Vision for the Role: “ensures quality and integrity of data on the library management system”.
The first quality librarian sat with cataloguing staff in the Access team and was originally a cataloguer.

2nd incarnation - a shared role between two part-time staff, one an ex-cataloguer - the other took a more global approach to the Data.
