QWEL is a training program developed to educate landscape professionals about

the benefits of sound landscape design, management and irrigation practices.

Water-efficient landscape practices, including irrigation system programming and

troubleshooting; plant selection; soils; and water management are among the

subjects included.

The 20-hour training was developed by the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water

Partnership and brought to San Diego by the San Diego County Water Authority

and its 24 member agencies.

This list of professionals includes individuals who have earned a Qualified Water

Efficient Landscaper certificate through training sponsored by the San Diego

County Water Authority. The individuals listed provided all service information.
