Though con-structed of only the finest materials, thisbumper must be maintained to keep itslook while performing under the tough-est conditions. Modular JK Front Bumper Installation Prep:

Put on safety glasses. Start by removingthe factory splash guard. Remove the 4plastic push rivets on the underside ofthe bumper. (FIG1)

Next, remove the two plastic push rivetson the backside. (FIG2) Remove thesplash guard. Note: This will not bereused with your Quadratec bumper.

Next remove the factory bumper. Usingan 18mm socket remove the 8 bumperretaining bolts. There are 2 on the insideand outside of each frame rail. (FIG3)Carefully remove the bumper from theframe rails.

Be careful not to damage the fog lightharness. Use a forked pry tool to removethe harness retaining clips from thebackside of the bumper. (FIG4)

Modular JK Front Bumper Installation Prep:

Disconnect the factory wiring harnessfrom the bumper mounted fog lights.(FIG5)

Next, remove the Factory frame guard.Locate the plastic screw rivets on eitherside. (FIG6)

Remove the plastic screw rivets witha phillips screwdriver. (FIG7)

Now remove the factory fog lights fromthe factory bumper with a phillipsscrewdriver. (FIG8) Save factory foglights for installation into the newbumper.

STEP 1: Attach the Grill Guard Hoop (D) to the main bumper (A) using (8) M8button headed bolts (I), (16) flat washers (J) (above & below the main bumperhousing), and (8) M8 nylock nuts (K) using a 5mm hex key, 13mm socket & ratchet.

Modular JK Front Bumper Assembly:

STEP 2: Attach the light mounting brackets (C) to the main bumper by using (4) M8button headed bolts (J), (8) flat washers (above & below the main bumper housing)and (4) M8 nylock nuts (K) using a 5mm hex key and a 13mm socket & ratchet.If you prefer not to install the light mounting bracket the M8 button head screwscan be used to cover the mounting holes in the bumper.

STEP 3: Install the Factory JK fog lights or optional Quadratec LED fog lights intothe fog light mounts in the Left and Right bumper end caps (B). Secure each foglight using (4) M4 Self tapping screws (L) and a 1/4” socket or nut driver.


STEP 4: Attach the bumper end caps (B) to the main bumper (A) using (4) M12 but-ton head fasteners (E), (8) Small diameter M12 flat washers (G) and (4) M12 nylocks(H) per side using a 8mm hex key and a 19mm socket. Snug the fasteners at first andalign the endcap with the main bumper before you fully tighten. If you choose to runthe bumper in the “Stubby” configuration (without the end caps) you canuse the M12 button head screws to cover the mounting holes.

THIS BUMPER HAS A CUT-OUT FOR A VEHICLE RECOVERY WINCH.THE BUMPER FEATURES AN INTEGRATED WINCH MOUNTING PLATE.WINCH-READY BUMPERS AND WINCHES ARE HEAVY AND WESTRONGLY SUGGEST THE ASSISTANCE OF AN ABLE-BODIEDASSISTANT DURING LIFTING AND INSTALLATION OF YOUR BUMPER.

STEP 5: With the help of a friend lift the bumper into position and pass the mountingstuds on the bumper through holes on the vehicle frame horns. Secure the bumper inplace with the (8) Large diameter flat washers (F) and (8) M12 nylock nuts (H).Tighten with a 19mm socket and torque to 66 ft lbs.

Your Bumper has been designed andmanufactured to provide years of use.However, like any product, generalmaintenance is required to keep itlooking new.

Since the bumper is located on the frontof the vehicle, it is subject to potentialrock chips and other debris potentiallycausing portions of the paint to chip off.We recommend using a textured or glossblack spray paint sprayed on a piece ofcardboard and Q-Tip to gently fill inthese chips. This will prevent any rustfrom forming.

On all bumpers there is a chance ofsome surface rust showing over timedue to metal particles being embeddedin the paint. This surface rust is easilyremoved by a non-abrasive cleaner/polish and a soft bristle brush (not ametal brush!).

For bumpers with a textured finish,wash only with soapy water and avoidother waxes and polishes.

This Limited Warranty is the only warrantymade in connection with your purchase.Quadratec neither assumes nor authorizes anyvendor, retailer or other person or entity to as-sume for it any other obligation or liability inconnection with this product or Limited War-ranty. This Limited Warranty does not applyand is not cumulative to any accessory or partdistributed by Quadratec for which the Manu-facturer provides a separate written warranty.

What is Covered: Subject to the terms, exclu-sions and limitations herein and with respectonly to Quadratec branded accessories first soldin the United States, Quadratec warrants to theinitial retail purchaser only that yourQuadratec accessory shall be free of defects inmaterial and workmanship: for a period ofthree (3) years from date of retail purchase.

This Limited Warranty is not assignable andshall terminate upon sale of the vehicle uponwhich the Quadratec accessory is installed orother transfer third persons.

Acts ofGod, accidents, misuse, negligence, inadequatemounting or impact with vehicle(s), obstaclesor other aspects of the environment, (d.) theft,vandalism or other intentional damage.

Remedy Limited to Repair/Replacement:The exclusive remedy provided hereunder shall,upon Quadratec inspection and at Quadratec’soption, be either repair or replacement of prod-uct or parts (new or refurbished) covered underthis Limited Warranty. Customers requestingwarranty consideration should first contactQuadratec to obtain a RGA number(610-701-3336). All labor, removal, shippingand installation costs are customer’s responsibility.

Other Limitations - Exclusion of Damages -Your Rights Under State Law:In consideration of the purchase price paid, nei-ther Quadratec nor any independent Quadratec distributor/licensee are responsible for any timeloss, rental costs, or for any incidental, conse-quential, punitive or other damages you mayhave or incur in connection with any part orproduct purchased. Your exclusive remedyhereunder for covered parts is repair/replace-ment as described above.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific rights.You may also have other rights that vary fromstate to state.
