I LOVE MALAYSIA.• I love Malaysia because Malaysian are kind and

caring. They always donate to people who need help. When there are floods, many Malaysians help the victims. We also send money when there are famines in other countries.

• Malaysia is a peaceful country. Most citizens follow the laws. We do not have to worry about wars. All races live in harmony. We respect each other’s customs. We even celebrate festivals together.

THE SAD AND HAPPY MEMORIES IN MY LIFE

THE SAD MEMORIES…

When I was 11, I lost someone that I love, my mother. My mother passed away when I still young. She had a cancer when she was 32 years old. My mother passed away at the age of 35. I love my mother so much, but now she is gone. Nobody can replace my mother. However, I believe that my mother will always be with me in my heart.

THE HAPPY MEMORIES…

My happiest moment happened on 21 January 2009. It was my birthday. My grandmother bought me a big present, it was a teddy bear. The teddy bear was so cute and I like it so much. The next day, my aunt brought me to Genting Hingland and Cameron Hingland - two famous tourist attractions in Malaysia. I enjoyed my time with my cousins. It’s was so fun. I hope I can go there again.

• Malaysia is a harmony country, there are many festivals that we celebrate in Malaysia. For example:

• Muslim celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri. They celebrate it after fasting during the month of Ramadan. The day begins with special prayers. Children show respect to their elders by seeking forgiveness.

• Hindus celebrate Deepavali. This festival usually takes place in October. Many Hindus light oil lamps to brighten their homes. They also use coloured rice to make beautiful patters in their houses.
