Recovery Scenario
Recovery scenario enables you to specify how a test recoversfrom unexpected events and errors during a run session.
Unexpected events, errors, and application crashes during a run
session can disrupt your run session and distort results. This canbe handled by means of Recovery Scenario.

Recovery Scenario Manager
The Recovery Scenario Manager provides a wizard that guides you through theprocess of defining a recovery scenarioa definition of an unexpected eventand the operation(s) necessary to recover the run session.
A recovery scenario consists of the following:
1. Trigger Event-The event that interrupts your run session.2. Recovery Operation-The operation(s) that need to be performed in order to
continue running the test or component.For example, clicking an OKbutton in a pop-up window,
3.Post-Recovery Test Run Option-The instructions on how QTP shouldproceed once the recovery operations have been performed

Creating a Recovery File
To create a recovery file:
1 Choose Resources > Recovery Scenario Manager. The Recovery ScenarioManager dialog box opens.
