1About This BlockTo duplicate the look of Hopes &
Dreams, use the same fabric for 2adjoining patches as shown in the unitpiecing diagram.
2Making the BlockSew patches A–G together in alpha-
betical order as shown to make a unit.Make 2 units from each color group fora total of 8 units.
Maintaining the unit orientation, lay Hon a unit, right sides together. Mark adiagonal line on H from corner to cor-ner. Stitch 1⁄4" out from both sides of theline. Cut apart on the marked line.
With the H on top, open out the toppatch and press.
Trim each block to 61⁄2"x 61⁄2". Make 16blocks.
