QualiWare Compliance, Audit & Improvement (CAI) is a
web based solution deployed on top of the QualiWare
Enterprise Publisher and the QualiWare Integration
Server platform and it supports the full life cycle end-
to-end governance processes required by big companies.
It assists managers in planning and executing audits and
to work structured with continual business improvement.
This is a solution that supports international standards
and best practices, and it will work out-of-the-box with
most businesses implementation of process based
management systems, audits and continual improvement
initiatives.
Workflow definition
CAI comes with a set of predefined governance
workflow for automation of execution and follow-up
of Audits, Non-conformances, Corrective Actions,
Approvals etc. The standard functionality may be
configured to satisfy specific customer requirements
by simply modifying the Governance Workflow
diagram:
CAI ensures the workflow is executed by guiding
and notifying the relevant users in the organization
when their involvement is required. It allows
assignment of ownership to the different stages in
the audit process. Service levels expectations, alerts,
escalations of delayed activities, work flow statistics
and reports are included in the package and may be
configured by the customer.
Active involvement
From a web based front end integrated with the
company business management/compliance system,
the Quality Manager may plan and publish the audits;
the target, participants, questions and dates.
Execution of the audit may result in registration of
Non-conformances and corrective actions. Similarly,
employees are able to register non-conformances
or change requests in order to improve business
performance.

CAI is an integrated part of the collaboration platform for the management system. It is easy to use and enables a transparency for user with adequate access rights

Compliance Audit & Improvement contains
predefined customizable processes that will automate
the flow of the actions related to audit and
improvement. Stakeholders are notified via e-mail
or via their personal page in the management system.
Compliance, Audit and Improvement includes:
• Predefined but customizable workflows for Audits,
Change Requests, Non-conformances and
Corrective Actions.
• MyPage with "my governance tasks"
• Predefined but customizable web dialogs for
creating and updating the specific governance
task
• Role-based access. (Only features relevant to
logged in user are accessible and dialogs only
show attributes and functionality relevant to
current user)
• Statistics, search, filtering and reporting
Compliance matrices (adequacy matrices) are included and may be used for reporting, filtering or direct navigation to the relevant parts of the management system.
From a web-based Wiki-like user interface, the users are able to fill in the information required to complete their task.
Users have a "MyPage" function to inform them about current governance tasks requiring their attention or that have been registered in an area under “my responsibility”.
