• QualiJet HS is a new generation high speed textile digital printer, entirely developed and built in Italy, ideal for high quality production runs on any kind of textile substrate, up to 1.6 m. width at a production speed up to over 40 m2/hr.

• Over 150 textile digital printers production experience gave us the means to add to this new model the best technical improvements, with the result of top efficiency, productivity and perceived quality.

• The QualiJet HS with its speed potential and colour control, combined with a competitive price and small footprint opens new opportunities to textile digital print.

1. Reasonable cost of spares and service support

The print engine is the Mimaki JV5, which is produced in large volume by Mimaki ( excess of 4000 units a year). It is highly reliable and spares and trained service personnel are available from multiple sources.

The printer uses latest generation of Epson print heads.

• Each print head consists of 8 lines of 180 nozzles or 1440 nozzles.

• There are 4 print heads, so we have 5760 nozzles firing simultaneously.

• Speed for print resolution of 540x720 dpi: • 4 pass, 4 color, bi-directional = 54 m2/hr• 4 pass, 4 color, unidirectional = 35m2/hr• 8 pass, variable dot, 6-8 color, bi-directional = 28m2/hr• 8 pass, variable dot, 6-8 color, unidirectional = 20m2/hr• Also can print at 720x720 dpi and 1440x1440 dpi.

The distance from the print heads and the fabric surface is automatically controlled by a sensor. A sophisticated laser device checks on the fly each nozzle efficiency and prevents from print faults.

This enables Epson prints to look much better than other print heads that print with comparable resolutions.

Hence, digital textile inks form most European manufacturers ( eg. Huntsman, BASF, Dystar) are designed for Epson print

heads.There are 3 dot sizes : 7 pl, 14 pl and 21 pl ( pl = picolitre).

QualiJet HS

Automatic nozzle check and cleanIn-built laser based nozzle check feature. Monitoring ink-discharging state from the printing head and ink clogging is quickly detected and cleaned, saving the waste of media and ink. Reports online the number of nozzles clogged at any time ( which may be due to poor ink or even due to micro air bubbles). Once the number of blocked nozzles exceeds a pre-programmed number, the printer can automatically clean the head, ensuring long life and preventing print quality deterioration.

•Adhesive blanket prevents even the smallest movement of the substrate once in position, and ensures perfect registration.

• A precision twin roll unwind mechanism with photocell edge sensor guides the fabric precisely and smoothly onto the blanket, whose glue

is activated by heat, making the QualiJet HS ideal to print also on elastic fabrics.

•A rotating brush washing unit with open water circuit prevents ‘back printing’ by removing the excess of ink from the adhesive

blanket. •The entire washing unit is mounted on rails and can be extracted

with ease for inspection and cleaning.

We do not lock customers into purchasing our inks. We confirm that inks from Jaysynth, Huntsman, Dystar,

DuPont and BASF work very well with our printer. The operating cost of any digital textile system is very

significant and has much greater impact on total cost than the cost of the printer itself.

On-line ink degassing system – reduced ink consumption and higher productivity.

•Many ink manufacturers offer degassed inks in pouches. •However, the limitation is that this works on their printers only.

•With on-line degassing, the system becomes truly open and you can use non-degassed inks.

•Our data shows that on-line degassing increases productivity of the printer ( as it prevents nozzle clogging due to microbubbles) and also reduces ink consumption by 15-20%.

Ink bulking and uninterrupted ink supplyDual cartridges ensure that ink supply remains uninterrupted while the empty cartridge is being refilled.

With ink bulking, you can use 1.5 L containers instead of cartridges.


QualiJet HS Belt system designed to handle any type of fabric with high productivity•Handles very well all type of fabric – stretchable fabrics incorporating lycra, delicate silks, chiffons, georgettes. Large production runs are achieved without difficulty.

•The fabric feed unit has powered roller for surface fabric roll unwind, dancing roller for synchronization and photocell driven edge sensor. •We also have axial unwind device with brake tension control as a built in option. An adjustable fabric expander is provided to ensure proper tension and handling of fabric as it is placed on the belt.

•The belt is driven by high precision brushless drive and control. •There are two heaters, one for drying the printed fabric and one for drying the belt.

•Conveniently located automatic belt washing device a which can be easily cleaned. A system is provided for uniform reapplication of glue.

•A powered twin roller take up unit is provided for surface rewinding of the printed fabric with dancing roller synchronization.
