GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION, BOOK REVIEW, AND MEMBERSHIP

All submissions and editorial correspondence should be sent to:

Articles must be double-spaced on 8.5" x 11" paper, must not exceed 30 pages, and must be submitted in triplicate; a computer disk will be required if the article is approved for publication. Iranian Studies follows the latest edition of The Chicago Manual of Style as a guide for style and editorial considerations. The transliteration system follows the International Journal of Middle East Studies, with a few modifications. Personal and geographical names carry diacritical marks only when they appear in the title of a book, journal, or manuscript. Foreign terms not found in the latest edition of Web- ster's Collegiate Dictionary must be underlined in the manuscript and marked with diacritics. A copy of the Journal's style sheet may be obtained upon request.

IRANIAN STUDIES is published by the Society for Iranian Studies and dis- tributed to its members as part of their membership. Annual membership dues are $45.00 for individuals, $55.00 for families (with only one issue sent), and $25.00 for students. The annual subscription rate for libraries and other institutions is $65.00. A limited supply of back issues of the Journal is available.
