Welcome to QAD eQ 2.2 You are about to see a self-running demonstration of the QAD eQ application fully integrated with QAD MFG/PRO eB. Lets get started by first looking at eQ basics. Portal Design for easy use in a browser Access your content easily with buttons Simple screen to screen navigation controls Here is an example of content management in a portal design. Lets Log in to QAD eQ and take a look. Instructions, information or directions are available and easily managed. Simple Login Lets select a company and look at the capabilities. Here we get to select who will be executing the sale. Simplified search for customers Select a customer Lets look a little closer Control the entire sales order process with simple controls. Create a new sales order line. Confirm a single line or the entire order. Lets create a new order then save it. Note: the Sales Order number is assigned, it can also be manually entered. Now lets enter a sales order line. Enter as few as three pieces of information, then save. The new line has a status of INITIAL. Lets look at some of the line detail and policies that were automatically loaded for you. Lets Confirm the order line and see the change of status. CONFIRM PENDING means the order line is in transit to MFG/PRO eB for processing. A CONFIRMED status means that MFG/PRO eB has received the sales order. A short time later the status has changed. How do we cross- reference the orders? QAD eQ assigns a fulfillment order number, in this case Lets change hats and move to the MFG/PRO eB system for the shipment. This could be across the street or halfway around the world. Notice the order number created in the system Lets ship the order A simple shipment process. The shipment is seen in eQ. Lets go back and take a look. Note the change of status. This concludes the demonstration of QAD eQ integrated with QAD MFG/PRO eB QAD eQ 2.2 Private Enterprise Exchanges
