• I definitely feel I have learnt a lot from my Preliminary task.

• For one , I have learn so much more about technology and the internet.

• Also when actually filming the preliminary task , I felt as if I didn’t know what worked .

• For example we experimented with camera angles , to find that straight ones look better.

• When actually filming our film , we found out the lighting was essential . If you don’t have good lighting (either natural or artificial ) – it won’t look clear and looks a lot worse on camera.

• I have also learnt that you should try and get filming done all in the same day , as the setting can change quite easily , from weather , if props our moved unintentionally.

• Another thing I have learnt is that keeping the camera as still as possible during filming is essential as it can make the film look more cheap / low budget if done so.

• In comparing our preliminary task to our film – as we did more editing for our actual film – editing can emphasise and make a film look more professional which is effective – as it makes it a more enjoyable film for others to watch.

• So we learnt that editing generally makes our film look neater and more professional.

• Also I think their was lack of focus when we were filming our preliminary task – which impacted within that.

• However in our film we had full concentration and our thoughts were clear of how we wanted the film to be which impacted positively within our film.

• From our preliminary task we had very basic setting and costumer and only a small amount of camera shots.

• However when filming our film ‘Crush’ we learnt that using a more variative use of costume , setting ,props , not only makes the film more interesting visually but contributes to making it more exciting and vivid.(Mise-en-scène)
