Preliminary Task My preliminary tasks were of every low quality, my front cover is very blurry and too close up to the model for the audience to experience some sort of connection with the magazine as there is no direct mode of address either which is a good way to lure people into the magazine as they feel some sort of connection with it. with my contents I feel as if the way the models are set up is the main fault with the picture as it is not a good angle for the audience to understand what it going on in the picture. With both the pictures lighting is a large aspect that went wrong with the pictures and made them not turn out as good as they could have been.

Mock ups I feel as I f I took quite a large step when I moved onto my mock ups as I decided to try out black and white pictures and see how they turned out to see if I liked it like that. I also found pictures with good lighting that I could use to help the black and white method I was trying out. Progression from my preliminary tasks was quite large as I completely changed what my main task will look like. I also started to use more appealing colours to help my magazine stick out from the rest. I have it being black and white with red as a stand out colour to catch peoples eyes and attract them to the magazine. I also made all my text on the magazine easier to read by doing this and I also made the text go around the model and not over lay on top of the model.

With my final production I stated to take my photos with the black and white style in mind and with the idea of having all my text around the model. I have learnt a lot of things in this process and one of the main things being lighting, lighting is critical in your photos because if it isn't what you intended it to be even by the smallest amount it can ruin the whole thing. My mock ups and my final production aren't that different the main difference is only the model, I did this because when I made my mock up I was quite pleased with how it went so I decided to not change it by a lot and keep it to that standard.
