How did you integrate

technologies-software, hardware and online?

1.Computer/laptops

Computers have made life easier, It is a very important tool as it can save

a lot of time and now days its all about blogging. In the very beginning

we were told to save our work on the school systems. From the very first

day we were supposed to start blogging our work till the last class. We

used the computer systems to surf the internet "GOOGLE" was one of the

most important engine that we made a lot of use in our research

(inspiration). Blogging became the part of our daily life as we were

supposed to mention about every experience we had and what we did

in our class. Editing was also one of the major part as we made use of

some software’s(PowerPoint).

2.Photoshop:

Adobe Photoshop was the main software we made use of to construct the preliminary

and final magazine. I had basic knowledge of Photoshop but i was keen to expand

the skills through online and mostly by my teacher who helped me a lot throughout. It

was a bit difficult job but i had a great support.

• 3.Blogging:

I never have used word press before nor i am use to blogging. The first time when I

heard from my teacher that we are supposed to blog instead of just presenting it to

him I got a bit scared but being a first time user, it took me no time to get my hands on

it. We were taught how to upload pictures, make new posts, add label etc. It was

pretty easy once i got to know and slowly I became used to it. I downloaded the app

on my phone and updated it regularly.

4.Prezi/slide share:

These online tool were very helpful for me. I had never used it before and found it

different and more interactive way of presenting my presentation. It a more better

way to present information as oppose to the PowerPoint presentation. It also enabled

me to upload my PowerPoint's to my blog, I will be definitely using them more in the

future.

5.Mobile phone (smartphones):

My phone was of a great help. I downloaded the application in it so that it i could

regularly update it. Before my photo shoot took place i captured a lot of pictures from

my phone camera to see the lightening and location before the actual photo shoot. I

always gave my phone to one of my friend during the shoot so she can take some

"behind the scene" pictures shown on my blog. Similarly, we used it during the class to

take pictures of other during the presentation.

6.USB:

USB was very important for us media students as sometimes our school systemsused to change and all our effort went in vain. We started saving our work on our USB’s

and took it home for further editing or change, this way our work was saved and we

started working on our own laptops.

7. professional camera(DSLR):

It was very essential to use professional camera for better quality for my

shoot without it my work wouldn't have looked professional. We had a classthat was totally dedicated on camera techniques we got to learn a lot andaccording to that we took our shots and angles on the final day of ourphoto-shoot.
