• Do Verses 11-13 Teach Calvinism? No!– Jacob’s Role, not salvation, is under discussion.– “Esau I Hated” is written in Malachi 1:2, LONG

after they are dead. It is a reflection of his life, just like Hebrews 12:16.

• Do Verses 15-18 Negate Free-Will? No!– How we respond to God’s mercy is up to us! Vs 16– What “does not depend on man” is how much

mercy is shown us in life’s circumstances.

• What distinguishes a “vessel of mercy” from a “vessel of wrath” in verses 21-24?– Accepting The Invitation To Become Like Jesus

• Has God Failed Either The Jews or Gentiles?– No! He has shown both to be in need of His mercy,

and Has invited both to come to Him with Faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 11:28-32
