We believe that the main value of the scoping assessment for a company is the determination of the viability of SAP EM for you as well as the Roadmap towards implementation that allows for accurate budgeting for the implementation project. It’s important to take a little time up front to ensure that you know what you are getting in to before you are too deep in it. The scoping assessment will provide more specifics for qualitative and measurable benefits in the areas where SAP Event Management plays a strong role. i.e. Providing total visibility to your extended business processes, and having them flow against a pre-defined plan with milestones, allowing you to manage only those that are exceptions to the plan.

Scope of the Assessment The following activities would be performed during an SAP Event Management Scoping Assessment (durations are approximate / normal for traditional SAP implementations. Allow for an additional week if your SAP implementation is greatly customized, or your scope is particularly expanded): • An Overview presentation on what SAP EM is and what it can do for you ½ day • Detailed generic training covering the functionality of SAP EM 1 ½ days • Standard EM Scenario Implementation (requires a working SAP EM system prior to on-site arrival) 1 day • Conducting an analysis of your business processes 1 day (or more) • Executive presentation showing opportunities, a project plan / roadmap to realization 1 day
