Together with the VDE Institute – among the world’s most pro-minent independent testing organisations – we implemented the most comprehensive quality testing program in the solar industry sector.

This rigorous testing, conducted on our Q.ANTUM range, goes above and beyond the minimum standards that solar panels are required to meet for sale. The program tests samples from production continuously and independently, so there’s no place to hide. In fact, some manufacturers’ prototype panels barely pass basic testing, which only ensures a product survives the first few years of operation.

We also work with other independent test institutes such as the Certification Institute and Frauenhofer Institute to develop several test procedures that more accurately reflect everyday demands.

These tests are far more challenging and tougher to pass than international standards such as the IEC, CSA International and UL, Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), JET and Kemco.

Our Q.ANTUM DUO technology combines the latest monocrys-talline Q.ANTUM cells with a six-busbar design and cutting-edge advancements in cell separation technology. This novel interconnection scheme is based on half-cut cells and round wires – reducing both electrical and optical losses, respectively. This is achieved by halving the current passing through each cell and making use of incident light more effectively.

We constantly subject our panels to the most punishing conditions within our own laboratory climate chambers and at our arduous outdoor testing facilities worldwide. In addition to our internal testing, the industry-leading VDE Quality Tested Program is designed to ensure panels last beyond 25 years.

The Q.PLUS BFR-G4.1 is the highest performing multicrystal-line Q.ANTUM module available in the Q CELLS range, in an aesthetically pleasing black frame. Powered by the world-record Q.ANTUM cell design, this module is able to achieve optimal performance under real Australian conditions – from cold and overcast, to clear and hot days.

Q.POWER-G5 is the highest performing mutlicrystalline BSF (Back Surface Field) or non-PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Contact) module, and the industry‘s first-ever to incorporate six-busbar cell technology. Like the name suggests, this 60-cell module is available in power classes of up to 280Wp and comes with superior reliability and high level operational safety. This improved cell design – combined with its hard-wearing junction box and connectors as well as its optimised frame – leads to optimum power generation and low LCOE. The Q.POWER-G5 is an all-rounder that is suitable for any application, ranging from residential and C+I projects to ground-mounted solar power plants.
