Flag Football is the most popular intramural at Purdue

Like All Intramural Sports Available at Purdue, Flag Football has both male and female leagues.

On a nice day, it is common to see many relaxing on the field or playing a casual game with friends.

So What Is there Besides Sports on the fields?

The marching band finds their home on the south field. Drill practice has been a common sight here since before this picture of the 1925 band’s rehearsal.

The Tailgate

Every Saturday of a home Boilermaker football game, the field is becomes a host not to athletes, but to the many spectators.

Overnight, cars begin pouring onto the empty field the the day’s game.

By morning, the field is a noisy maze of cars, food, and friends.A far cry from the athletic paradise it was not 24 hours prior.
