RC Car: Created a circuit and programmed it to drive two DC motors via Bluetooth connection to Android

phone. Designed the car using high traction wheels and high torque worm to spur gear ratio. Mechanism Analysis: Dimensionally synthesized planar four-bar and Stephenson three mechanisms, and

performed a static and dynamic force analysis using MATLAB. Organized data on an excel spreadsheet and made various plots on mechanism behavior.

Computer-Aided Design Experimentation: 3-D modeled a V-8 Engine with its major components, a spur gear using an involute profile, and a two stage gearbox composing of four spur gears of different pitch radii. Spur gear calculations were done using MATLAB.

Task force team member, NJIT Baja Team, Newark, NJ September 2016 – Present Tasked with designing and modeling a brake pedal and mount for the Baja car and performing a stress analysis. Research the most cost efficient material to use while keeping in mind the machinability of the design.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate Researcher, Control, Automation, and Robotics lab, NJIT, Newark, NJ July 2016 – Present Research and choose the most optimal and efficient commercial mini motor, mini reducer, and a position

sensor for the design and building of a servo motor. Design a frame/housing that can hold all components of a servo motor such as a mini motor, a mini reducer,

position sensor, and control circuit. Learned how to select the most cost efficient parts for my design as well as the practicality of the machinability

of that design while building and improving my teamwork skills.

Assistant Instructor, The Tutoring Center, Aberdeen, NJ May 2016 – Present Teach math, reading, and writing to students from K-12. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the center.

Student Employee, Office of Special Events, NJIT, Newark, NJ January 2015 – Present Manage the Special Requests rental process by taking reservations from other departments and checking

inventory for damaged or missing items. Provide assistance with all aspects of University Commencement, Celebration, and Convocation, including

signage, logistics, and volunteer management.

Summer Research Intern, Rutgers University QuarkNet Center, New Brunswick, NJ June 2013 – August 2013 Observed various collision data for different number of particles such as a proton-proton collision. Participated in a one day International Masterclass for this workshop where we discussed the standard model

with other worldwide particle physicists. Increased interpersonal skills in a highly diverse and competitive environment.

SKILLS

Microsoft Office, MATLAB, PTC Creo, SOLIDWORKS, Sales, Circuitry, Teaching, Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
