Once again young people were challenged and changed by the power of the Spirit of God. Young people who went out to bring the good news to the poor and needy, to young backpackers from different nations traveling around the world in search for answers. God uses our young people to reach the world around them whether it is by riding a bike to bring a bible to a family that has never seen or held a bible or be i t through a backpacker who carries the word of God with them to share the truth of Jesus. What a blessing to be part of this ministry, to see young people passionate for what God has for their lives as well as what He can do through their li ves. Last quarter of 2010 September has started and with that the last quarter of 2010. The year is almost drawing to a close and still there is so much bearly starting for us here in YWAM San Jose. Our July DTS is in full swing with only a few more weeks of lecture to go and the outreach around the corner that will be going throughout central america. Then our September DTS and Community Development School will start on the 24 th of this month which will give us a new community of around 35 students, plus our full time and short term staff members, so we will once again be a community of around 80 people on a daily basis. Always lots of things happening on and off the YWAM base, mini stry into the city downtown, ministring to the prositutes and young girls who are in search of true appreciation, which they never received at home. Our staff members are reaching out to them by praying with them and listening to them. Once a week there is a team of our staff going to mini ster to the children of different neigborhoods, doing bible vacation schools and sharing the Love of God with the upcoming generation.

Towards the end of the yearwe will be building another

home of hope as well, so

there is always lots to do.While there is people who donot know Jesus and do not

have a bible in their homethere is work to be done!!

Personalchallenges…

Lots is happening in our little family as well. As we mentioned in one of our

previous letters our car was taken away from us on July 31st and thesituation is still not resolved. We are still fighting to get our car back and inthe mean time we are trusting the Lord to do a miracle. Also we moved outof our house that we were renting because the Lord had opened the

possibility of building on Giacomo’s parents property, which has been in fullswing since July. We have been living on the YWAM base every since hopingthat tomorrow is the day we finally move. We have had some mayor

setbacks due to the small loan that we had hoped would have been throughby now, but still hasn’t. Would you pray for this to come through soon.

Then Marjolein had hernia surgery in her stomach this past Tuesday so she is

on bedrest for a little while longer, but God send a friend from Holland to

help for one month. In the mean time the kids are still going to school andwe are hoping to move soon and things are still not in place. Would you prayfor us. The unsettledness is starting to wear on us a little bit by now. The

kids needs more structure and we can’t offer that now so we need to see God

do some miracles. We appreciate all your prayers as well for our finances aswe are being challenged in every way. But God doesn’t ever do anything

without a reason. Thank you for standing with us!!

Thank you again for your prayers forour family we appreciate your

friendship and support that help usto do what God has called us as a

family to do!!
