InstructionsRattlePlace beans or bells inside a small plastic container such as a small Easter egg or container from vending machine. Tape closed to ensure it’s water tight.

RingWith A, ch 11, sl st in first ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: Sc in each ch around. Pm in last sc and move up each rnd.Work 4 more rnds of sc in A, then work 4 rnds in B, 5 rnds in C, 4 rnds in A, 5 rnds in B, 4 rnds in C, and 5 rnds in A. Fasten off. Stuff tube and bring ends tog to form a ring, sew beg ch to final rnd.

HeadWith C, ch 2. Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. Pm in last sc and move m up each rnd.Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc. Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 6 times—18 sc. Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc) 3 times—21 sc. Rnds 5-8: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 9: (Sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc)—18 sc. Place rattle inside head and add stuffing.Rnd 10: (Sc in next sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc)—12 sc. Rnd 11: Sc2tog around—6 sc. Fasten off, cut yarn, add more stuffing if necessary, and use yarn end to sew head onto ring.

MuzzleWith A, ch 2. Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. Pm in last sc and move m up each rnd.Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc.

Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 6 times—18 sc. Fasten off, cut yarn, add a little stuffing inside muzzle. Referring to photo for placement, sew onto head. With B, embroider a nose on muzzle. With D, embroider eyes just above muzzle.

EarsMake 1 with A and 1 with B.Ch 2. Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. Pm in last sc and move m up each rnd.Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc. Rnd 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 6 times—18 sc. Rnds 4-12: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 13: Sc2tog around—9 sc. Rnd 14: Sc in each sc around.Fasten off, cut yarn and flatten ear (do not stuff).
