Numeracy Challenge 2 It takes two machines in a factory 50 minutes to create ten teddy bears. How many teddy bears can one of the machines make in 30 minutes?

Assume that both machines work at the same rate. The challenge before Christmas involved you counting all the gifts given out during the twelve days of Christmas. Remembering that there is a lot of repetition, you should have found 364 gifts in total. Over half of the 337 entries were correct this time, with Aimee Duerden from the Music Form being the lucky winner. To enter the Weekly Numeracy Challenge complete the weekly test that is set on Firefly. Alternatively, you can enter by putting your name; form and answer on a piece of paper and placing it into the Numeracy Challenge Box in Mr Binns’ classroom.
