2. If I am not traveling with an infant, can I travel with breastmilk?Passengers are allowed to travel with breastmilk in their carry-on baggage only when traveling with an infant. To avoid confiscation, you are allowed to store the breastmilk in your checked in baggage.

3. Are there any restrictions in traveling with note-books or tablets?Yes. Additional passengers screening measures are required by the Department of Homeland Security of the United States for all international flights that return to the U.S.

Immigration:

1. When is the opening date for CBP at the airport?Our airport is currently waiting on the contract agreement from the U.S Government and Dominican Republic’s Government. Once the agreement is made we will be releasing the opening date of Pre- Clearance at our airport.

2. How much is the tax fee when staying more than 30 days in the country?To request a listing of the tax fees, please contact the Immigration Department at our airport at the following email: [email protected].

3. What are the requirement for minors traveling with a third person, only one parent and/or alone?To request detailed information on the requirements please contact the Immigration Department at the following email: [email protected].

Clearing Customs:

1. Can I travel to Punta Cana with my Drone?For travel guidelines on this item, please contact IDAC (Institute Dominican of Aviation Civil) at: [email protected].

2. How do I claim an item I am bringing into the Domini-can Republic at Customs?Upon arrival to our airport, you will be given a Customs Form where you will claim any items subject to a tax fee. For further information please feel free to contact the Customs Department at [email protected] .

3. What are the requirements if traveling with a pet?To be able to enter the Dominican Republic with your pet, you will need to present a health certificate from a veterinarian from your country of origin and all the vaccines must be up to date.

Please keep in mind that in case of spending more than 1 month in our country with your pet, you will have to visit a veterinarian in the Dominican Republic before your departure. This is just to make sure the vaccines are up to date before exiting the country.
