Who We Are

LEV is a non-partisan organization that partners with parents, students, and civic leaders who believe in quality education from cradle to career.

We are the only Washington-based organization working to improve public education from early learning through higher education.

Our vision is that every student in Washington receives an excellent public education that provides opportunity for success.

Going forward

The state must fully fund teacher and administrator salaries as the first step in addressing remaining McCleary obligations.

We must expand the definition of the state’s education obligation to include the full continuum of our children’s education, early learning through two years of postsecondary

We need a broad coalition willing to engage with many stakeholders to try and affect the kind of improvements we need to fully realize our potential
