You are writing a book and you are thinking about the next step.

If the answer is yes, keep reading. 

Why is self-publishing hard work? 

Self­publish your book is hard work because you are on your own. 

You'll have to proof­read, edit, design your cover and promote your

book without the resources from an editor. 

Think about it. 

Do you still want to do it? 

Many authors are self­published so, why can't you?

What now?

Proof­read

Ask a friend, someone you trust,

or hire a professional proof­reader.

Advice : if you can, print a copy, It'll be easier to proof­read your

book this way.

Edit

This is the big part of your work. 

Have a look inside a few books and keep the great ideas.

Take your time for proof­reading.

Don't rush yourself but set clear objectives everyday. 

How to self-publish your book on Amazon?

1­ Connect to https://kdp.amazon.com/ and create an account or sign­in.You can use your Amazon account to connect.

2­ You need to fill all the information, it can take a while, so be prepared.If you don`t fill it, you won`t be able to publish your book.

3­ From the previous step, save and go to Bookshelf. 

From here you can start creating your next eBook. 

When your eBook information will be complete, the orange buttons will

be green.

Click on + Kindle eBook. 

4­ To get your eBook published you`ll need to:Complete the eBook Details = language, title, author etc...

Complete the eBook content = upload your file, upload your cover...

Set up the pricing

5­If you want to Make your eBook for pre­order you`ll find an option at thebottom of the Kindle eBook Details page.

Save and Continue

6­Complete the Kindle eBook content pageUpload your manuscript, the platform will convert it to Kindle.

To create a cover you can use the button "Launch Cover Creator" orupload yours.

Use Launch Preview to see if you are happy with the result.Save and continue to Pricing

7­ The pricing part may be the most difficult because there is a lot ofoptions. Amazon offers a wide range of promotions you can choose.

 Some of them may interest you, read all the documentation.

From here you`ll be able to click on PUBLISH

You choose the price of your eBook. Browse Amazon to get an idea.

8­ When returning to Bookshelf, at the bottom of the page, your new bookwill appear. From here you can always change the details and go back to

content or pricing if you need it.

If you saved your book as a Draft (like in the picture)

use the arrow to Publish it.
