The SolutionThanks to the continuity of ourrelationship with afPE,Coachwise were able to use thesame editorial and design teamthat worked on the precedingedition of this resource. Inaddition to the necessarytechnical skills, this brought adeeper level of trust andunderstanding of the client’sneeds to bear, making theprocess even smoother.

Our designer refreshed the lookof the book, sourcing newphotography and introducingnew colour elements that arestill in keeping with afPE’s brandidentity. Our editor worked inclose partnership with theauthor to make the text moreuser-friendly than ever before. Our editor also managed theadministration of payments andcomplimentary copies totechnical reviewers. We wereeven able to accommodate anearlier print deadline when theclient’s needs changed.

The ResultsThe resource is now even easierto navigate thanks to thecolourful signposts throughoutthe text, coupled with theaccurate and thoughtful cross-referencing of topics created byour editor. Updating the designand putting all the appendices onCD cut the resource’s length byover 100 pages while keeping allessential content, allowing therecommended retail price to be frozen despite rises in material costs since the last edition.
