DIANA CRAWFORD
Diana Crawford joined the Orapin Marketing + Public Relations (OMPR) team in
2013 and manages account services and client communications strategy
development. An experienced public relations professional, Diana has worked on
both the agency and client side as an in-house communications director. Her
diverse portfolio includes projects with consumer packaged goods, alcohol, sports
and lifestyle, non-profit, education, and technology companies. She has expertise
in social media, internal and external communications strategy, branding, event
planning, and media relations.
Diana believes public relations is an art of storytelling and loves helping small
businesses get the word out about their accomplishments. A small business owner
herself, Diana understands each company’s need for a champion to help separate
them from the crowd. She enjoys working with her clients to craft their unique message and then share that
message with the world.
Over the past several years, Diana has had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with her
clients. She recently directed the public relations strategy for the business launch of Denver Beer Co. which
resulted in media coverage in USA Today, The New York Times, Denver Post, Denver Westword, Denver Business
Journal, Denver Thrillest, KUSA-TV, KWGN-TV, AM 760 radio, and more than 50 hits in relevant industry blogs
over a period of six months. She also had the opportunity to develop and manage a social media campaign for
34 Degrees Crackers that resulted in Facebook fan growth from 1,000 to 6,000 “likes” over the course of four
weeks. And further, created and executed a public relations campaign for 34 Degrees that resulted in a
segment on NBC’s Today Show and articles in Health Magazine, Saveur, Cooking Light, 5280 and several trade
publications. She has had the pleasure of supporting the communications teams of several other large brands
including Jones International University, Whole Foods, Niman Ranch, Quality Assurance International, Hylands
Homeopathic, Community Housing Concepts, Blue Horizon Wild, R.W. Knudsen, and Santa Cruz Organics.
On the internal communications side, Diana has directed the design, creation, and content development for
five corporate websites, and has developed crisis communication plans for multiple companies to address
potential communications crises, health and safety issues, and natural disasters.
Diana graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in French and International Relations. She is also a
graduate of the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center’s NxLevel for Start-ups Small Business
Training Course.
