From: Bearing Arms Gun Shows [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, April 18, 2019 10:12 AMTo: Steve Dreher <[email protected]>Subject: Crawford Center Gun Show Inquiry
Steve,Thank you for taking the time to speak to me about the possibility of using the Crawford Center building for our event. We would be looking at a mid to late May 2020 time frame for the 2 day show, we would also need 120 tables and 60 chairs that would consist of using just 1/2 of the arena floor. For this show we would need to rent at least 60 tables and 60 chairs, which increases our expenses by approx. $600 in addition to the rental fee. At your current rate of $1,000 per day we would not be able the make the show work. If we could negotiate the rental rate to just $500 per day that would enable us to do the show. For us starting a new show in a new area is always hard, also the time of year in which we do a show plays a huge part in the turnout for the event, so a May show for us is already a gamble. We would also like to work with a local 4H shooting club for a fundraising opportunity consisting of working with concessions and free booth space at the event. If you would consider the lesser rental rate of $500 per day we could move forward with the planning of this event.
Thank you for your time,
Gary
