Tuesday, June 11Technology is Driving Smarter Products and Services Andrew WertkinSenior Vice President & CTO, PTCIn 2008, the number of things connected to the Internet exceeded the total number of human beings on the planet. The rapid rise of these “smart” connected products, composed of integrated systems of hardware and software, introduces massive complexity into the product design and development process. It also holds the promise for engineering to deliver an entirely new generation of value-added products that not only remain digitally connected to the manufacturer, but that also can sense their own surroundings, adjust their own performance, and even heal their own afflictions. In this keynote presentation, PTC’s CTO will share his vision for how manufacturers should seize this moment to rethink innovation in how products are created and serviced to bring true delight to their customers.
