December is upon us once again and even though the upcoming Winter Break makes for a short month at Steck we still have a lot of fun and exciting things going on We13 will13 start13 off13 December13 in13 the13 middle13 of13 our13 first13 Bu8er13 Braids13 braided13 bread13 fundraiser13 We13 have13 had13 so13 many13 requests13 from13 parents13 to13 offer13 this13 item13 and13 are13 happy13 to13 announce13 that13 all13 proceeds13 from13 this13 fundraiser13 will13 go13 directly13 to13 the13 Steck13 LMC13 Proceeds13 from13 this13 sale13 will13 allow13 Mrs13 Christakes13 to13 purchase13 new13 books13 data13 base13 subscripGons13 and13 further13 update13 technology13 that13 is13 used13 by13 all13 Steck13 students13 The13 beginning13 of13 this13 month13 also13 finds13 us13 in13 the13 middle13 of13 our13 annual13 Steck13 Season13 of13 Sharing13 event13 This13 event13 helps13 local13 families13 in13 need13 by13 placing13 tags13 lisGng13 requests13 for13

Season of Sharing
Participate in the Season of Sharing by picking tagsoff The Giving Tree (located in the LMC starting
November 18 2013) and provide much needed items to the children of the local community that wouldotherwise go unfilled during this holiday season
To participate please do the following
bull Take a childrsquos wish off the treebull Please write your name and the childrsquos number
(on the wish card) on the clip board so that we can keep track of the families filling wishes
bull After filling the wishes please wrap the items and affix the wish card to the gifts so that we know what gifts are for which child (if you have more than one wrapped item please consider putting all gifts in a large bag and affixing the wish card to the bag)
bull Gifts can be returned wrapped anytime before December 13 2013 to the Steck Office

Participate in the Season of Sharing by picking tagsoff The Giving Tree (located in the LMC starting
November 18 2013) and provide much needed items to the children of the local community that wouldotherwise go unfilled during this holiday season
To participate please do the following
bull Take a childrsquos wish off the treebull Please write your name and the childrsquos number
(on the wish card) on the clip board so that we can keep track of the families filling wishes
bull After filling the wishes please wrap the items and affix the wish card to the gifts so that we know what gifts are for which child (if you have more than one wrapped item please consider putting all gifts in a large bag and affixing the wish card to the bag)
bull Gifts can be returned wrapped anytime before December 13 2013 to the Steck Office
