PT. HEAT EXCHANGERS INDONESIA known as PT. HEI was established on 16th May 1994, and is located at Jalan Bawal, Batu Merah Batam Island 29432, Indonesia. The company also located in the Free Trade Industrial Zone adjacent to Singapore which is about 20 km away and is strategically sited to service clients in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and others parts of Asia and The Middle East.

PT HEI specializes in the design and manufacture of heat transfer equipment of all types, pressure vessels and process skids, piping, and other specialized fabricated equipment.


Since its establishment in 1994, PT. HEI has designed and fabricated over 5,000 units within the refining, petrochemical, power generation, industrial refrigeration, mining, gas and general industries throughout South East Asia.

PT. HEI is recognized as a major competitor in the heat exchanger market and a leader in process equipment design.

The company is located about 1 km from Batu Ampar seaport Batam and 15 km away from an international Airport. This enables us to supervise directly the shipment and documentation of all materials and equipment.

THERMAL DESIGN

PT. HEI engineers have at their disposal the most advanced thermal rating, mechanical design and CAD/CAM computer systems to fully optimize your process requirements. These facilities are continually upgraded in line with PT. HEI’s policy of continued development.

PT. HEI is a full member of the worldwide-recognized authority of the Heat Transfer Research Institute of USA (H.T.R.I.)

All H.T.R.I. software is run ‘in-house’, providing quick turnaround on design variables with an integrated Hardware Network and utilization of up-to-date specialized software together with a professional work force. PT. HEI has the ability to compete successfully in all areas of heat exchanger applications.

DETAIL DESIGN AND DRAWING

PT HEI has mechanical design engineers and CAD draftsmen using design packages including Microprotocol, AutoCAD14, CADWorxand PVElite for its detail design and drafting of pressure vessels, shell & tube heat exchangers, spooling and air-cooled heat exchangers.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

PT. Heat Exchangers Indonesia places a heavy emphasis on offering and maintaining reliable and timely supply. The company is committed to effective project management and as such has established systems and allocated resources to ensure delivery milestones are attained and the client is fully informed about the progress of the project

The PT. HEI Project Management Team prepares schedules, coordinates and ensures execution of all projects to meet client’s delivery expectations with regard to engineering, procurement, manufacture and delivery.

PT. HEI assigns each project to a Project Coordinator who is the single point of contact for customer. The Project Coordinator establishes a cohesive multi-disciplinary team to achieve the end objective in the line with client expectations. This includes liaison with the customer, external agencies such as 3rd party inspectors, and statutory authorities, to ensure the project commences on time with schedule requirements

A production program is established (dependent upon specification requirements) which indicates the time scale schedule of each phase of the work and critical path activities. During the performance of the contract the Production Program is updated on a monthly basis to reflect actual status against planned.

Production Progress Reports regularly issued to the client also include a summary of material procurement and engineering/documentation status as well as the status of manufacture.
