Faculty AwardAwarded annually for superior achievement in 400-level courses. This award recognizes contributions to the more intangible aspects of the courses, e.g. asking stimulating questions in class, evidence of initiative and independent/creative thinking, or outstanding performance in laboratory work. Students are nominated by Faculty members and the decision is based heavily on let-ters of recommendation from Faculty members.

We’re proud of our students and their accomplishments and we know their families and friends are too. We’ll be taking a photo of each recipient as they receive their award and will be posting them on our website for every-one to enjoy.
At the conclusion of the ceremony we are requesting all award recipients and presenters to meet at the pond just outside of the Administration Building (weather permitting). We’ll take some group and individual photos and also give you an opportunity to capture this special moment.
