INTRODUCTION

This assignment and presentation represent the manifestation of overall understanding towards

theoretical frameworks and daily life application within Social Psychology contexts. Our group

consists of 4 members; they are Loh Pey Mun, Michael Chang Vui Loong, Aaron Ngu Nguok

and Lee Ern Hui. We all agreed and decided to choose this topic “Non-verbal”. Instead of

drawing a building, we decided to create and design and open space, which is a garden. We

named it “Angelic Park”.

Angelic Park

The area of Angelic Park is 9km². Angelic Park is an eco-friendly park. It is also elder- friendly

and children-friendly, because it has both Teenager playground and Children playground. We

also did not forget our senior citizen, so we made an open space for them to rest and play Taichi.

Considering not to let them will hungry and thirsty, we built a stall which sell fruits and drinks,

just right between senior citizen space and elder playground. For those who like nature and

photo shooting, we create a jungle track and flower garden for them. Besides human, we did our

best to also take consideration about animals, so we created a pet park for them. The pet park is

mainly for the dog’s owner to train their dogs there and have fun, in order to increase their

relationship. The other uses of the pet park are also used as a picnic place. The specialty of our

Angelic Park is “The Statues”. There are four statues, which is Peace Statue, Friendship Statue,

Care Statue, and Respect Statue. Each statue has their meanings. For more explanation for the

statues will be shown below.

Peace Statue

Peace Statue, it is the one which located at the middle of the lake. It is designed in an angel form,

because angel represents peace. It is also our main attraction of this park. We got a bridge

passing through above the lake; the main use of the bridge is to have a closer look of our Peace

Statue. The statue’s hand is in a hugging form, and spreading it wings. It means bringing

someone to peace.

Friendship Statue

Friendship Statue, it is located between the elder playground and children playground. It was

two statue shaking hand. The statue is bringing out the information of being friendly to each

other, no matter if they are younger than you or older than you. So we place it at the place it was.

We chose this because; we wanted the younger generation to be more social able, instead of just

looking at the smart phones, and also to be united, so that we can have a better country.

Care Statue

Care Statue, it is located just at the mini roundabout, just between the senior citizen park and the

pets’ park. It was an elder hugging a young, it was representing the elder is showing love and

care to the young. It was design in this way, because we try to encourage people, to give care to

other people and also to animal.

Respect Statue

Respect Statue, it is located at the entrance of Angelic Park, mini roundabout. It was place there

because we want people who come in Angelic Park knows that respect to each other is very

important, so that we can avoid most of the argument. The statues are bowing to each other to

show respect to each other. It is not a must to bow to everyone, but nod will do also.
