PSB Academy Singapore 1964 - A productivity unit set up in the Economic Development Board
1972 - The unit then came under National Productivity Board (NPB) tasked to raise productivity levels of the national workforce
1996 - Merger of NPB and Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SISIR) to form the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (PSB)
2001 - PSB was corporatised during the government’s restructuring effort and was renamed PSB Corporation; and then PSB Academy
2006 - PSB Academy was privatised and became an independent Private Education Institution (PEI)
