STAGES OF APPLICATION PROCESSFollow easy step-by-step instructions to prepare your application to study at UII. Clear instructions are also available in the application system that we provide. If you still find difficulties, do not hesitate to ask for our help.

Your study permit will be processed in the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in Jakarta, Indonesia a�er we receive the tuition fee payment. Then, we will apply for your limited stay visa to the Directorate General of Immigration, Indonesia to be sent to your country (or nearest country). Please be noted that you can only process the limited stay visa in your country (or nearest country) a�er we send the letter of authorization issued by the immigration office of Indonesia to your email. The study permit and limited stay visa will approximately take 2 months.

If your application is successful, you will receive a letter of acceptance, a study agreement and instruction of tuition fee payment from UII. The transferred tuition fee payment as scheduled in the letter of acceptance indicates that you accept your enrollment at UII.

While waiting for the visa, please kindly contact us regarding your preferred accommodation.

Once the visa process has been completed, you can start to arrange your travel to Yogyakarta. Please inform us with the date and time of arrival for pick up arrangement.

VISA AND IMMIGRATION

As an international student, you will be charged tuition fee the same as the local students. Please kindly see what are included in the fee components in the table of fees in this guidebook. If you choose International Program (the program taught in English or Arabic), there is an additional cost associated with the program.

PRE-SESSIONALBAHASA INDONESIA CLASSUII offers BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing/ Indonesian Language for Foreigners) in CILACS (Center for International Language and Cultural Studies) for foreign students from non-English speaking countries who will learn Bahasa Indonesia or for those who will study in UII regular classes (taught in Bahasa Indonesia). The minimum eligibility for entry into UII diploma and bachelor degree, you need to:

§ Have completed your secondary school/ senior high school education in your country;

§ Meet the language requirements, depending on the program that you choose - taught in Bahasa Indonesia, English or Arabic.

Meeting the minimum entry requirements means you are eligible to apply to UII, but it does not guarantee selection. You need to apply online at apply.uii.ac.id, before you can be assessed for admission. No Application fee is charged.

§ The color scan of the first (photo) page of your passport;

§ Letter of good health*;

§ Current curriculum vitae/resume;

§ Declaration stating that you will not work on your study visa and you will obey Indonesian law*; and

§ Certified copies of your graduation certificate and academic transcript (if the language is other than English, please kindly provide the translation documents with an official stamp from the translator office);

§ Passport-sized photos with red background.
