Information gap between senior and junior staff regarding organizational process and procedures became evident

Internal communication needs improvements.Lack of structured monitoring efforts related to the strategic

planKnowledge management and strategic planning /

communication and monitoring are the most challenging dimension

Best practices: BIPA (strategic management framework), EPRC (International advisory board), CADEP (Outcome mapping methodology for strategic planning process), CEBRI (Knowledge management / digital filing system), Grupo FARO (Project Approval Committee).

LESSONS ABOUT PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION Adapt tools and include dimensions as necessary Include group discussions in the process Include external perspective if possible Sustainability?

Page 11: PSATT Project Final Presentation

LESSONS OF THE COLLABORATION EXPERIENCEStrengthes WeaknessesPresidency necessary to run the coordination Smart group members, inspiring discussionsLearning from each other based on best practicesLearning about the political/ institutional/ cultural context of the other TTs

Heterogeneity in professional interests, consequently small overlapHard to engage further colleagues from PSATT institutes (individualized ownership)Selection of countries was sort of ad hoc that let us focus on organizational issues (rather then thematic ones)

Opportunity ThreatsIncluding external stakeholders’ assessment as wellRunning “external audit” among ourselves (budget/ time limits)

Meet up every half year/ have personal meeting, otherwise you fail
