NEMA TS-2 Cabinet Power Supply

The Peek Traffic TS-2 NEMA PS100 is a rack orshelf mounted power supply unit that provides allregulated DC and AC voltages for all Bus InterfaceUnits (BIU), load switches, and detectors for a TS-2Type 1 cabinet assembly. Other auxiliary equipment,requiring the same voltages, that may be present within the terminal facilities can also be operatedfrom the PS100 power supply.

The power supply is a requirement of the TS-2standard for all Type 1 cabinets. Its primary functionis to provide the 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 12 VAC outputsand line frequency reference within the TS2 cabinets.

The construction and design of the unit facilitatesease of access to all major components. The frontpanel test points, complete with binding posts, andthe power supply MS connector are terminated to thepower supply circuit board via easy access Molextype edge connectors. The chassis is constructed ofanodized aluminum that is finished with an attractiveand durable coating.

The flexibility of the Peek Traffic PS100 power supplyallows for cabinet expansion, enhances reliability andprovides a superior power supply interface with Peek Traffic or other manufacturers' TS-2 cabinets.
