Advocacy- PWP speaks for all single

parents and their children at

conferences, in national coalitions, and

in workshops.

International Convention- conduct

organization business and elections, and

attend workshops on both single

parenting subjects and on how to run

PWP programs

Organizational Awards- A number of

awards are available in the areas of

Community Relations, Family and

Youth, Membership, Program,

Legislative Action, and the Distinguished

Service to Children Award.

Adult Social and

Recreational Activities

Relate with other adults as single

parents in a safe environment. Expand

Children are top priority in

PWP! We are required to have

educational activities that will

take us on outings to places like

the zoo, museum, or even

camping to learn about the stars.

Other required family friendly

events may include a trip to the

park, a bike ride, or game night

at a member’s house. Are you

bored with your same old

routine? Take advantage of

other members’ ideas and try an

event you might not ever have

thought of on your own!
