I. IntroductionWelcome to Managed Care of North America, Inc. (MCNA). We are a Dental Plan for the Texas CHIP Dental

Services Program. We are happy to be the dental plan for your child. We have a large network of General Dentists

and Specialists to take care of your childs smile. Our dentists will serve as your childs Main Dental Home Dentist

(known as Main Dentist).

At MCNA Dental, we care about your childs smile. It is important to us that your child knows how to take good

care of their teeth. The first step is to pick a dentist from this Provider Directory to meet your childs dental needs.

The dentists in this Provider Directory are contracted with us to give your child dental services. The Directory

also tells you which dentist your child can go to when he or she needs special dental care. You can pick from

one of our dentists who are located close to where you live or work. You can also pick a dentist that speaks your

preferred language.

a Main Dentist. You can also call this number if your child’s current dentist is not listed in this Provider Directory.

II. How can I Find a Main Dentist?A list of Main Dental Home Dentists (Main Dentists) in your area can be found in this Provider Directory. You can

pick any Main Dentist listed in the directory. This directory will also give you facts about each Main Dentist such

as:

• Office location and office hours

• The languages the office staff and dentist speak

• If the dentist is accepting new patients

• The ages the dentist treats

What is a Main Dentist?A Main Dentist is the dentist who gives your child services to keep their teeth healthy. This dentist also can fix

most teeth problems. Your childs Main Dentist also can send your child to a specialist for teeth problems that are

harder to fix, if that kind of treatment is needed. You will have to get a referral from your childs Main Dentist if you

choose to take your child to another dentist.

If you need help finding a dentist, you may call our Member Services Hotline toll-free at 1-855-691-6262.

You can also go to our website at http://www.mcnatx.net/find-dentist/ to find a Main dentist using our onlineTexas Provider Directory. You can search for a dentist by:

After you pick your childs Main Dentist, call their office to make your childs first dental visit. Remember to takeyour childs Member ID card when he or she goes to the dentist.
