Proverbs 6.20-2320 My son, keep your father's commands

and do not forsake your mother's teaching.

21 Bind them upon your heart forever; fasten them around your neck.

22 When you walk, they will guide you;

when you sleep, they will watch over you;

when you awake, they will speak to you.

23 For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light,

and the corrections of discipline are the way to life

MotherM  is for the million things she gave me,

O means only that she's growing old,

T is for the tears she shed to save me,

H is for her heart of purest gold;

E is for her eyes, with love-light shining,

R means right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell

"MOTHER,"

A word that means the world to me.

2 Timothy 1.3-73I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear

conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my

prayers. 4Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be

filled with joy. 5I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first

lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am

persuaded, now lives in you also. 6For this reason I remind you to

fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on

of my hands. 7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit

of power, of love and of self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1, mc 1.3-14, vv 1.3-7
