A proverb is a short, memorable phrase that gives advice about life.

Proverbs can contain traditional beliefs about life.

Meaning: People always long for

what they do not have and they are never happy with what they have

Meaning: Something one

person likes very much can be something that another person does not like at all.

do something, the more likely you are to make mistakes.
