Seamless Claims Transition from Basic Coverage to NAIA Catastrophic CoverageOnce a claim reaches the $25,000 medical maximum on the NAIA basic accident medical plan, the claim is automatically transitioned to the catastrophic plan on behalf of the institution.

Claims Reporting and AnalyticsStandard loss reports and analytics can be provided quarterly to help institutions better understand claims experience, identify cost management strategies, and make data-driven decisions. Customized, ad hoc reporting is also available.

Optional Insurance Verification ServiceClaim payments by students’ primary insurance may vary for intercollegiate sports injuries, and low or limited benefit levels can negatively impact an institution’s basic athletic insurance premiums. Ensuring student-athletes have primary medical insurance that covers participation in intercollegiate sports is critical to cost containment.
