How to become an Eco Warrior Champion!
Each term choose challenges to complete to earn your reward sticker enclosed in this pack.
You can do challenges on your own, with a friend or a group of classmates. There’s also some you can do at home with your family.
Each one is designed to teach you something about environmental issues but will also be fun and can be anything from making something to outdoor activities.
The school with the most completed challenges will win a prize!
You’ll also receive a certificate at the end of the summer term if you’ve completed the challenges.

1. Everyone in class agree to make a New Year’s Resolution not to drop any litter at all during the year, to put it into the right bin or take it home and recycle it. A pledge document is signed by all pupils and displayed on the classroom wall.
3. Don’t leave taps running when you wash your hands or clean your teeth. Encourage others at home to do the same. You can save energy too by turning off lights and computers after using them.
5. Design and draw your own recycling factory.
2.Check some of the bins around your school to see if they have signs to explain what items should go in them. Are there bins for all types of waste? Report your results back to your teacher.

1. Collect water in a tub, and use the contents to water your garden at home.
3.Walk, scoot or cycle to school at least once a week.
5. Create a home for wildlife either at school or home or both!
This could be a bug hotel, bird box or hedgehog house.
2.With your teacher, choose the area you want to litter pick. Spend 1 hour litter picking and record the type of litter you collect. Could some of this be recycled? Did you see any bins in the area? How many bags of litter did you collect?
4. Create a daisy chain and email us with your pictures to [email protected]
