Spray cans, gas cartridges, lighters etc mixed in with garbage are the cause of res on garbage trucks and refuse disposal facilities. Also, the incinerator must be stopped if things with a lot of mercury like thermometers and blood pressure meters are brought into waste disposal plants with the "burnable garbage," this is a great disturbance to disposal. Place each of these types of waste in a separate bag from other waste, and dispose of them at a waste collection site on the day when ceramic, glass, metal waste is collected.

When you dispose of these types of waste, please specify by writing "スプレー缶 (Spray Cans)" "ライター(Lighters)" "水銀式体温計(Mercury ermometers)" on the bag in Japanese to know what the contents are. Please give us your co-operation.Note: Making holes in spray cans and the like is dangerous. Use up the content of a spray can as much as possible, and then dispose of it without making a hole in it.
