Tuning, Repair, Rebuilding and Restoration Repair, rebuilding, or tuning of compromised or worn pipe organs is a challenge to which our rm is fully experienced and quali ed. Tonal projects, additions, and console upgrades or replacement, are also central to our repertoire. We can advise you about the most e cient and cost-e� ective methods for optimizing any instrument, whether electro- pneumatic, mechanical or tracker action.

For our clients who seek to preserve the best of the past for enjoyment well into the future, our services include complete releathering, restoration, reconditioning, and selective tonal enhancement of period pipe organs.Our long relationship with the Organ Historical Society has given us insight to hone our appreciation with respect to the understanding of historical instruments and the pragmatic needs in today’s worship environment. In order to preserve the integrity of a venerable instrument, it is our policy to adhere strictly to historical authenticity in materials, except where contemporary technology provides a compelling advantage.

We follow three important guidelines for design and use: • The instrument must provide firm and musical support for

congregational singing. • The instrument must provide sensitive and musical accompaniment

for the chor al liter ature. • The instrument must provide for the musical rendering of composed

literature.

Our tonal philosophy is to design and voice liturgical instruments that are intended to excite and to soothe the listener and harmonize with the room. Our liturgically based instruments are balanced to support choral and congregational singing by offering the maximum possibilities for sensitive and creative service playing. We believe that by

offering organists comfortable registration possibilities for creative and sensitive service playing, and by having an essential grandeur and balance as needed, we can achieve the excitement necessary for effective worship.
