FROM THE DESK OF THE DIRECTOR
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”- Nelson Mandela.
There was a time when survival depended on just the realization of physiological needs. We are indeed privileged to exist in a time when 'intellectual gratification' has become indispensable. Information is easily attainable for the soul that is curious enough to go look for it. Technological boons enable information availability anywhere anytime. The difference, however, lies between those who look for information and those who look for knowledge.
I take the pleasure in welcoming you to SSR Institute of Management and research, Silvassa. The Institute is dedicated to the continual growth and development of each and every student for a better career & life since the year 2008.
SSR IMR is committed to nurturing leaders and entrepreneurs who will power their organizations in the emerging economies. At the same time the Institute remains deeply rooted to the region and the nation. An underlying priority is to instill in our students a sense of commitment as professionals to have a socially responsible impact; to give them an understanding of how difficult and challenging this often can be; and to expand their knowledge and their intellectual horizons so they emerge into transformed personality and prepared to have an impact in the world of business and society at large.
This is how we transform our students into holistic human beings and efficient professionals with a high sense of caring for family, society and the environment.
Dr. Praveena S. Muley Director, SSR IMR, Silvassa

In 2003, a self-financed charitable Trust "Swargeeya Sanjibhai Rupjibhai (SSR) Memorial Trust” ventured into the field of Education to undertake the great task of setting up a chain of Institutions providing quality education to the students of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Dadra & Nagar Haveli, then, was a small progressive place and a business hub, but did not have any proper educational institutions to cater to the varied requirements of the resident and industrial community. Shri. Mohan S. Delkar voiced the feelings of many concerned parents of Dadra & Nagar Haveli about the dearth of educational facilities and the urgent need of the people to bridge the demand and supply mismatch for a higher Education Center.
Shri. Mohan S. Delkar, a great visionary and nationalist, translated his ideas and dreams of promoting higher education into reality. In no time, he has carved out a niche for himself as an educationist, who believes in inculcation of values through education in the young generation. The group, under the able leadership of Shri. Mohan S. Delkar and the active support and association of renowned academicians, experienced professionals, eminent industrialists and technocrats, has established the educational center in the following branches:
µ SSR College of Arts, Commerce and Science College (Estd. 2006-07)µ SSR College of Pharmacy (Estd. 2007-08)µ SSR College of Education (Estd. 2007-08)µ SSR Institute of Management & Research (Estd. 2008-09)
