16

At the international level

The research work was distributes between national groups in the project team as follows:

• Bulgaria (DNRS – UNWE): UK, The Netherlands, Israel, NATO/EU regulations.

• Romania: USA, France

• Macedonia: Germany

Common issues

• Innovators’ market orientation• Concurrent product and process development• Strategic orientation of the innovation process• Technological cooperation and integration• Programme management of defence resources

for innovation• The innovation process is managed by

developing, evaluating and implementing projects

• Idea for establishment of portfolio management of innovation projects disseminates

4. Plans for the future

We are planning to continue with the following actions:• Identification, collection and exploration of developed

countries’ good practices that can be used in R&D management concept and model development.

• Research of national innovation systems and their interdependence with defence innovation systems of countries in the project.

• Research the specificity of existing Defence R&D management systems

• Defence industry transformation process exploration.
