MY JOURNEY LOCKET “PAVE THE WAY” Program
We want to take this time to make you a promise. We are committed to you helping you in any way we can to make you successful. Since we too are retailers, we have a unique advantage over most your other vendors.
We understand the satisfaction you get when you help a customer find just the right item, and we understand the frustration of having to compete not only with other retailers, but also with our own vendors! How many times have you had customer in your store take a picture of a product, take down the vendor information, and say,” I will order it online from the vendor.” If this has happened once to you, it is one time too many! We don’t appreciate it when our vendors sell retail to the same end consumer who we have spent time, money, and energy on in order to get him or her in our door. Why do they bite the hand that feeds them?
Well, we may not be able to stop them, but we can certainly try. Our goal at My Journey Locket is to someday, say we helped “Pave the Way” to change the way vendors treat their customers….YOU THE RETAILER. We have developed a program that we believe will help us achieve that! We think you will LOVE it.
We believe in karma and the power of the universe. We all share this Journey in life and there is plenty of everything for everyone. We are not out to compete with you, rather, we want to help grow your business.
This is what we will do for you:
When we receive an order on MyJourneyLocket.com from an end consumer, we will cross reference their zip code with the database of the retailers who carry our products. When there is a match, the end consumer will be informed of your store name, address, and contact information. They will have the choice of having their order shipped to them, or picking their order up at your store. Of course, we will encourage them to pick the order up at your store.
If they choose to pick the order up at your store, we will contact you with their name and what they ordered so you can set the order aside for them. You will need to honor our suggested retail prices, but we will pass that sale along to you, driving traffic into your store.
If they choose to have the order shipped to them, we ship the order, but you will receive a credit on your account. This credit amount that is equal to the difference between the wholesale cost of the order and our suggested retail prices minus shipping costs.
So, let’s say the consumer’s order is for a large chocolate brown locket, matching bamboo chain, and five charms. The wholesale cost of that order would be $10.50 for the locket, $4.00 for the chain, and $6.25 for the charms, and $8.50 for shipping. That is a wholesale cost total of $29.25. Per our suggested retail price guide that order would sell to the consumer for $49.93. This means you would receive a credit on your account for $20.68!
As you can see we want to create a win-win relationship. It’s worth repeating: we want to help grow your business and add to
your bottom line profits with our partnership.

10. If I buy from you, can I have home parties and recruit people to sell the product?
We are a traditional wholesale company and operate in that fashion. You must have a valid business Re-Sale License with License Number in order for us to sell to you. It is very important to us to protect our wholesale accounts and help them maximize their profits with our products. If you decide you want to carry My Journey Locket in your store, and as long as you are an active account, we will not open another account within a 5 mile radius of your store. We highly discourage you from going the home party route, and want to remind you that if you do decide to do that, only YOUR store location will be protected in that five mile radius.
11. What is your minimum opening order and re-order?
Our minimum opening order is $300.00 and minimum re-orders are only $100.00
12. What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept Credit Card, Paypal, or Money Order. Please note, if you pay by Paypal or Credit Card, your statement will show payee as Caribbean Jubilee, Inc. Sorry, no COD’s. If you’re paying with money order, your order will ship once we receive the money order. After the second re-order, Company Checks will be accepted, but must clear before the order is shipped. Returned checks will be assessed a $30.00 service charge.

14. When will my order ship?
We strive to ship orders of in-stock products within 48-72 hours. If you need expedited shipping for a particular date or occasion, let us know and we will do what we can to help you meet your deadline.

All backorders $50.00 and under will be canceled.
16. How will my order be shipped?
All order ship via Priority Mail from the USPS and utilizing their Signature Confirmation program. Initial Orders that contain displays will be shipped via Parcel Post.
17. What about damages and returns?
We are committed to supplying you high quality merchandise and want you to be absolutely happy with your “My Journey Locket” purchase. However, we understand things happen. When you receive your merchandise, please check it to make sure that it was received in good condition. We can’t be responsible for anything damaged in transit, you’ll have to make a claim with the USPS for that, but we will replace any of our products that suffer from any manufacturers’ defects. Any claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of merchandise. Items not in their original packaging are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
1. What are your lockets made of?
Our lockets are made of Stainless Steel 316. They are UV protected and feature AAA grade Czech crystals and tempered glass.
2. Why Stainless Steel 316?
Stainless Steel 316 is a high quality, durable metal. It is rust proof and hypoallergenic. The UV protection on our lockets helps contribute to the longevity of the locket by sealing the crystals and glass into place. The glass is tempered glass, which is four to five times stronger than standard glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails. Tempered glass is manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, making it harder than normal glass.
3. What Size are your lockets?
We currently offer two size lockets, 30mm and 25mm. The 30mm locket is approximately 1 1/8” in diameter and can fit about 8-10 charms. The 25mm locket is approximately 1” in diameter and can accommodate 4-6 charms.
4. How do I clean your jewelry?
By its nature, Stainless Steel 316 is easy to clean and maintain. Simply use any polishing cloth and rub in a circular motion, but do not use a jewelry cleaner. As with all jewelry you should put it on after you have applied any lotions, cosmetics, perfumes, hair products and/or sprays.
5. What about your chains?
Our chains are also made from Stainless Steel 316. Other companies have brass and copper based chains that are plated. Brass and copper are decent alloys, but they are not hypoallergenic and can have a propensity to oxidize, or “turn color”
6. How are your lockets and chains plated?
Our lockets and chains are Stainless Steel 316 and colored through a process called IP Plating. Basically, IP plating is a specialized process which fuses the color to the base metal in a vacuum environment. The IP plating actually becomes a part of the metal, ensuring a hard, durable finish and beauty that will last.
7. Are you the only company offering this type of jewelry?
No. The locket and charm concept has been around approximately 8 years. It started to gain notoriety around late 2010, and is becoming the latest concept with DIY charms.
8. Who is your competition?
The main company that is our competition, and that people know of is Origami Owl™. Even though they did not invent the concept (it has been around and in the states since 2005; a good five years before they started selling the product), they are the most recognizable company to date. It is our goal, with your help, to change that. They do not wholesale; rather their business model is to operate as a multi level marketing (MLM) company where “independent designers” can have home parties.
9. So, what is wrong with MLM’s?
Well, with a multi-level marketing (or pyramid selling) business model, the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of the other salespeople that they recruit. The recruited sales force is referred to as the salesperson’s “downline”. In order to be able to pay all the people in a “downline”, the product being sold has to have enough of a markup to compensate multiple people. We do not believe in this type of business model as we feel it artificially inflates the prices of the products.
