Sept. 23 1998

Dear Jim.

Regarding your request for the information re. claim 1230295.

On July 7/98,1 phoned Dennis Bordin, Resource Development of Kidd Creek Mines in Timmins Ont. to confirm date for him to examine quartzite on claim 1230295 in South Lorrain Twp.. We set July 9uV98 as the date and I would meet him in Cobalt and escort him to the claim.

On July 9/98 I met Dennis and he was accompanied by Marc Talbot, Physical Engineer, also from Kidd Creek Mines.

We drove to the claims and I rode with them and showed some of Ae exposed quartzite along the main logging road through the claims.

I showed them outcroppings around and past the beaver pond and then proceeded to the North end of claim 1230295 and bottom line of claim 1230294. We stopped here and examined a large exposed area of compact, light green quartzite. From this exposure they took several samples to take with them for analysis.

They inquired as to the extent of the deposit and what had been found on our other claims. At this time I was not sure of assay results on any samples, except the quartzite sample analyzed by Lakefield Research.

I had not yet had time to read over the soil results from claim 1230295, done by Activation Laboratories of Ancaster, Ont..

Sept, 23/98 Assessment - South Lorrain Twp. Claim 1230295 Re: July 8/98.^

Jim:I was at our claims July 8 & 9 1998.1 did not take the ATV on this trip.

On Wed, July 8/98 I spent the day prospecting and collecting SOIL samples on 1230295, and 1230294. My time on 1230295 is 1/2 day prospecting and collecting 7 soil samples, which you had analyzed at Activation Laboratories, Ancaster Ont. Please refer to a sketch I gave you. No. 7-8-1.

The next day, July 9/98 was the meeting with reps from Kidd Creek Mines.

Summary for July 8/98,

1/2 day prospecting SL sampling

14 sample bags - 7 for lab and 7 for backup materials which I am storing.

Meals - 3

No ATV travel deferred to meeting with Kidd Creek Mine Reps.

Remember: Your expenses for the samples: Shipping and Costs of Assays per 7 Soil.

fs*At this time (July) it was felt that more sampling from our claims would

enhance the future disposition of our claims, example ; Silver-Ni-Cu-Zn.

We, (Dave,Jim, Sherwood) request that if the lower claims (below 1230294) were of interest to Kidd Creek Mines, or any other Company that we require, aside from any monetary commitment.

1. Assessment work credit be given to us, should exploration work be done on said properties.

2. That we retain road access on the present road, or a new access be opened so that we may access any claims to the North of Quartzite claims.

Much work has been done on some of our claims since this meeting and work will continue were possible, until winter cuts off access.
